Common questions
Why do I need a changeover switch?
It stops the generator from feeding power back into the grid, which can injure someone working on the line, and it stops the grid from coming back on into your running generator.
Can you connect a generator I already bought?
Yes. We can install a proper inlet and changeover switch for an existing generator.
Generator or inverter?
An inverter is quiet and automatic but limited by the battery size. A generator can run heavier loads for longer but needs fuel and maintenance. Some homes have both. We can talk it through with you.
