Common questions
What does a COC cover?
It covers the fixed electrical installation, such as the DB board, wiring, plugs, light points, earthing and hard wired appliances. It does not cover appliances that plug in, like your fridge or kettle.
My house failed. What happens now?
We give you a list of what needs to be fixed and a quote for doing it. Once it is corrected, we issue the COC.
Who needs to get the COC when I sell?
In most sales it is the seller's responsibility, and the transferring attorney will ask for it. Check your sale agreement, and phone us early so it does not hold up the transfer.
